5/30/26 Okay! The full set of Pride Flag Planets are now up in the Pattern Gallery! And each of them has a little seek-and-find game to play with them, too~

3/14/26 Happy Pi Day everyone! Our celebrations reach their peak, and the final nonogram comes home to roost. It's been a blast making and hosting this puzzle stitch-a-long; thanks so much to everybody who's taken the time to play along!
For those who have finished the stitch-a-long (playing, or stitching, or both), I've got a survey open for it, and would be happy to hear your thoughts on how it all went!

3/11/26 So soon they will be complete! Another nonogram is up!

3/10/26 Yesterday I was too taken up with updating the puzzle and the socials to update this main page, but-- the nonograms continue apace! And you'll see yesterday's big update on the page as well: fixing a typo in the design. Also made it so the 'x's properly hide when you complete a puzzle.

3/8/26 This one's a little later in the day than usual, but-- today's nonogram is up!

3/7/26 Let's keep it moving, y'all! Another day's nonogram is up!

3/6/26 The next nonogram is up, along with a small tweak to the nonogram program; once a nonogram is fully solved, it will no longer hide the grid lines between empty spaces, but will leave them visible for ease of stitching. Many thanks to lupiks-main for the suggestion-- I hope I have implemented it well!

3/1/26 IT BEGINS! The first two parts of the Nonogram Stitch-a-long are up!

2/24/26 It's almost March, and that means-- Pi Day! I'm doing a 14-day Nonogram Stitch-a-long to celebrate-- the first puzzle will be up on March 1st, but the details on how to get your thread and fabric set up are there now. I'm stoked-- this one's gonne be a cool one!

2/24/26 Oh yeah also I spruced up the 2025 nonograms page too! Added a 'check for errors' button, a better UI, and some stitching details. That was a fun one, too 😄

1/22/26 Gave the patterns in the gallery another overhaul; they're more easily-browseable, with patterns both sorted into categories and linked chronologically to their neighbors from the individual pages. Fun to code! And it looks nifty. Click on the random one down there ➷ to check it out!
Also updated the site journal.

1/8/26 Happy New Year! It's uhhhhhhhhhhh not looking to be a good one by any meaningful real-world metric, but we keep moving. I popped the 2018 Pi Galaxy into the gallery.

12/27/25 A new page appears! I've set up a projecter and bedsheet in the backyard, so hop on over to watch my fiber arts fanvid there!

12/4/25 You can toggle the sounds and animations on the pattern gallery page now! Plus, made a little pattern of an eel larva over in the free patterns.

11/27/25 DO YOU LIVE IN NORTH AMERICA? IF SO, GO FILL OUT MY ECOREGIONS ANIMAL SURVEY. It's on the website now!

I need to find some way to promote it, perhaps, on the website more permanently-- a button graphic, perhaps? And I need to translate it into Spanish. More thoughts in the Site Journal!

11/24/25 Tumblr posts are now embedded on the site! It looks as though it isn't possible for tag commentary to be copied over, which is a shame, but the posts themselves have made it! Also updated the Site Journal.

11/21/25 New pages: a Links Page, a functional Shop Page, the Hand Bookmark, and a nicer-looking Free Patterns page. Also: this cute 88x31 button!

11/9/25 Added a sick rainbow shine effect to the random pattern box, the Ocean Sampler to the pattern gallery, and a copy of the website to Neocities. Not all the links there work yet, but they will in time! Also updated the Site Journal.

11/6/25 Cleaned up the mobile formatting of the Cross Stitch Connections and a bunch of the pattern gallery pages. Still haven't touched the formatting for the nonograms-- too scary for me! But I'll get there eventually.

10/24/25 Massive update: the gallery is CUTE, the patterns in it are STYLISH, and there are also a lot more of them up! Give it a look-- I'm quite proud of it. Gave the main page a new coat of paint, too.

9/22/25 Plant Sampler, Nudibranch Nexus, and Breathe are now up in the Gallery! Also updated the Site Journal.

9/18/25 A few more patterns are up in the gallery-- including the first truly NEW pattern, the Marsh Sampler!

8/16/25 The site's getting cute! Pixel fonts all over the place, CSS for some-- but not all-- pages, and more patterns in the gallery. Details are in the Site Journal!

8/4/25 Aight, bug fix time! Slapped a patch on a randomization error in the Cross Stitch Connections, tweaked some stuff with the random pattern widget and updated the Site Journal.

8/2/25 Updated the random pattern widget with a hover effect: now when you mouse over it, it'll show a random secondary image of the pattern. There's a similar (if less random) effect on the Pattern Gallery page, too.

Also uploaded the Carmen Shrine! As shrines go, it could use a few more sparkles and gifs, but hey, there's still time :)

7/30/25 Checkit out! There's updates like this one on the main page now. I added two more patterns to the gallery-- and also, the Data Sorting page has some proper data in it now. I've loaded it up with the raw data from my most recent Etsy scrape; if you like classifying pictures, you can help quantify how many of the patterns seem to be AI-generated.

7/29/25 Updated the Site Journal and Pattern Gallery. There's a lot that goes into websiting!
