The first of my beloved Pride Flag Planets 🌈
This series was born during a visit to my local Pride in 2018; my sister and I were chilling in the picnic area, surrounded by noise and color and celebration, and I told her I would love to capture some little slice of what we were feeling that day and make something, somehow, but that I didn't know exactly what. She said, "Well, you love stitching planets-- you should do that!" And here we are!
The sequins in this pic photographed very, very brightly, but that shouldn't stop keen eyes from solving a little seek-and-find:
I see a shell, a clear party balloon,
A green leaf, a green teardrop (did somebody cry?),
A skeleton, a blue square,
and two gold butterflies.
